Dallas's gospel music background also includes tenures singing tenor with the Dixie Echoes and Journeymen Quartets. He began his professional gospel music singing career at age I8. He is a very gifted singer with good range and a voice pleasing to the ears.

When Dallas is home, he enjoys playing golf, basketball, fishing and boating especially when he is spending time with his family.

Dallas offers the following words about his time with the Inspirations: "I don't know of a more awesome group of Christian gentlemen and wonderful singers and musicians than the Inspirations; and I'm most blessed and appreciative for the opportunity they gave me to be a part of a group that commands the highest degree of respect.
